Courtyard of the Tabernacle
The courtyard of the Tabernacle is according to the dimensions given in the Bible: 100 cubits in length and 50 cubits in width.
This is the equivalent to about 50 meters long and 25 meters wide.
There are 20 pillars on each side and 10 pillars on each end.
In all there are 60 pillars, each five cubits high (about 2.5 m).
Between the pillars was fencing that was apparently made of netting, in order to enable the wind to pass through without tearing.
And he made the court: on the south side, on the right, the hangings of the court were of twisted linen, of one hundred cubits (Exodus 38:9 [Leeser])
